Currently the association has two class of members (the association is not currently accepting Student Members as defined in the membership rules): Full MembersFull members must satisfy the association's Training and Qualification Standard and are therefore considered qualified Equine Podiatrists. Full members are required to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) so as to remain up to date with the latest developments in the field. CPD can include both technical study directly related to Equine Podiatry (e.g. studying relevant new publications or attending advanced courses) and also appropriate related study (e.g. an equine behaviour course). A register of full members can be found here. Associate MembersAssociate membership is open to those who have taken part in training in Equine Podiatry or have strong interest in the future of the profession. Note: Associate membership shall be denied to those who have demonstrated that they do not support the published aims of the association. |
